The Red Rocker Still Has It: Sammy Hagar in Mansfield

Sammy Hagar, the Red Rocker, still has it! The Xfinity Center in Mansfield, Massachusetts, exploded with energy on June 24, 2026, as soon as the opening notes of “Why Can’t This Be Love” kicked off his Best Of All Worlds Tour stop.

It doesn’t hurt that he has an all-star band backing him: fellow Van Halen alum Michael Anthony, guitar legend Joe Satriani, Kenny Aronoff on the drums and Nathan Mercado on the keys. From his solo hits to Van Halen classics, it was an incredible show from start to finish.

About the Artist

Sammy Hagar, known as the Red Rocker, first made his name with Montrose in the 1970s before building a solo career with hits like “I Can’t Drive 55.” He fronted Van Halen from 1985 to 1996 and was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame with the band in 2007.

In 2026 he took the Best Of All Worlds Tour across the United States, with Rick Springfield as special guest on most dates.
