Multi Ultra Brings the Party to Hoosier Dome

On Saturday May 23, Indianapolis' Hoosier Dome hosted an unforgettable night of live music. The lineup for the evening featured local support acts Fleor and Awetree before the Nashville-based alternative rock band Multi Ultra took over as the evening's headliner.

The night had a strong start with sets from Fleor and Awetree. The two bands each brought their own distinct sound and style to the stage. Both Fleor and Awetree delivered energetic performances that kept the crowd engaged from the moment the music started. Their ability to connect with the audience and build excitement throughout their sets created the perfect atmosphere leading into the night's main event.

By the time Multi Ultra stepped on the stage, the crowd was more than ready. From the first song, the band's infectious energy filled the room. Kids, teens, and adults could be seen singing along, dancing, and sharing in the excitement. The connection between the band and the audience was impossible to ignore. Even while I was trying to focus on capturing the night through a camera lens, it was difficult not to get caught up in the fun and energy surrounding the performance!

As someone who has over 20 playlists and counting, several of Multi Ultra's songs have made their home on them for a while now. Seeing and hearing them performed live was an entirely different experience. The band's high-energy stage presence elevated the songs I already enjoyed and showcased why the band continues to gain attention across the Midwest and beyond. Throughout their set, you could see the connection the members had with each other along withtheir joy and passion. It was easy to see how they have built a dedicated following.

One of the other standout aspects of the evening wasn't just the music but it was alsothe crowditself. From young fans to longtime concertgoers, every interaction throughout the night was overwhelmingly positive. The sense of community inside the venue was remarkable. Interactions I saw and were a part of had been supportive, and genuinely kind. This created an atmosphere that felt less like a typical concert and more like spending an evening with friends and family.

Lastly I want to take a moment and talk about the band members themselves. As impressive as the music was, what truly left a lasting impression was meeting the members of Multi Ultra themselves. Despite it being my first time meeting them, they immediately welcomed me with open arms. Our conversations felt natural and comfortable, as if I was catching up with friends I'd known for years. Their authenticity and appreciation for their fans were evident both on and off the stage, adding another layer to what was already a memorable experience.

If you haven't had the opportunity to see Multi Ultra live yet, now is the perfect time! The band is still out on tour with four remaining stops in Detroit, Michigan, Springfield, Illinois, and Memphis, Tennessee. If they're coming anywhere near your area, do yourself a favor and catch a show.
