We Were There When It Was Only Hope

Conor,
and the boys beside you,
Midnight til Morning.
We’ve watched you rise
from a hopeful start,
with nervous hands
and fearless hearts.
Now look:
first tour, first sold-out run,
city by city, one by one.
Upgraded venues, bigger stages,
crowds that scream through every page of
lyrics you once sang in rooms
that barely held a hundred tunes.
Now marquees glow with your band’s name,
every night a louder flame.
No empty seats, no half-filled floors,
just “SOLD OUT” signs on every door.
We are so unbelievably proud.
Proud of the work.
Proud of how loud
you’ve dared to dream,
you’ve dared to try;
you’ve reached so high
without losing who you are inside.
Midnight til Morning:
not just a name,
but proof that dark can turn to flame.
From uncertainty and fragile starts
to thousands singing from their hearts.
And Cologne,
that night still feels unreal.
Through flashing lights and everything I feel,
you saw my sign above the crowd.
Out of all that noise so loud,
you noticed.
You got my poem.
You gave your thoughts.
You looked at my drawing, every part.
You didn’t rush it.
You didn’t fake.
You made that moment more than I could take.
That’s who you are:
not just performers on a stage,
but people who stop,
who truly engage.
At the beginning, we were scared.
Watching Building a Band, we weren’t prepared.
Because of Liam,
because of the loss that still remains,
it felt heavy.
It felt wrong
to open our hearts to something new
when grief was still so strong.
But somehow, through that broken space,
through missing him and what he gave,
we found you there.
A brand new start,
a new boy band
to hold our hearts.
Through Liam, we found your sound.
Through sadness, something safe and loud.
And now we stand in sold-out halls,
singing with you through it all.
Conor.
Midnight til Morning.
Thank you for the music.
For the courage.
For the tour that proves you made it.
For the upgraded stages.
For the dreams you didn’t abandon.
We are proud of you,
of all of you,
of how far this band has come.
From midnight
til morning,
we’re with you.
