Sombr turned Gasometer into a room full of energy and pure joy.

On February 18th, 2026, Sombr turned Vienna’s Gasometer into a sold-out celebration of connection, chaos and pure joy. From the

very first moment, it was clear that this wasn’t going to be just another tour stop - it felt like the beginning of something magical, especially as it marked his very first show in Vienna. Before Sombr even stepped on stage, Charlotte Lawrence set the tone with an

absolutely captivating opening set. With emotional intensity and striking stage presence, she didn’t just warm up the audience - she pulled them in completely. A special moment in her set was when she covered Mr. Brightside by The Killers, every single person in this room sang along. By the time her set ended, the audience was fully ready.

When Sombr appeared, the atmosphere shifted instantly. The Gasometer was completely sold out, and you could feel it in every corner of the venue - every lyric was sung back at him, every beat was danced to, and the atmosphere was nothing

short of electric. It was one of those rare nights where artist and audience move in sync.

One of the most impressive aspects of the night was the variety of the setlist. Sombr effortlessly moved between older fan favorites like “would’ve been you,” “caroline,” & “savior,” and tracks from his debut album “I Barely Know Her” (released in August 2025), including the hits like “undressed,” “back to friends,” and of course, “12 to 12.” The balance between nostalgic moments and newer material showcased his artistic growth while keeping longtime fans deeply satisfied.

Personal highlights of the night included “we never dated,” which felt both intimate and explosive at the same time, and his newest release, Homewrecker,” which already sounds destined to become a live staple. The crowd response proved that his audience is not just passively listening - they are fully invested.

Midway through the show, during “Canal Street,” the concert took an unexpected pause when a fan in the crowd needed assistance. Instead of letting security handle it from a distance, he paused the show entirely, waited until the fan was safe and even helped handing out water into the crowd himself. Once he knew everyone was safe, he restarted the song from the very beginning – and the crowd responded with even more support. It was a small but powerful reminder that beyond the production, the lights and the music, there’s a real human being on that stage.

Speaking of production: visually, the show was stunning. The stage design was euphoric and immersive, elevated by dynamic lighting that perfectly matched the emotional highs and lows of the setlist. Every detail felt intentional. It wasn’t just a concert - it was a carefully crafted experience.

And then it came to the last song on the set, “12 to 12” - played twice. What might sound basic or normal, became one of the most iconic moments of the evening. The first time filled the room with energy; the second time felt like a collective release.

Instead of losing that energy, it got even better - a shared experience between artist and fans that no one in that sold-out venue will soon forget.

Throughout the night, Sombr took time to speak to the audience, expressing gratitude and acknowledging how meaningful it was to finally perform in Vienna. His appreciation felt genuine and unfiltered.

After the final notes faded and the lights came up, the connection didn’t simply end. Outside the venue, a group of fans waited in the cold — and Sombr came out to meet them, taking photos and sharing a few words before leaving. A simple but heartfelt gesture that perfectly reflected the spirit of the entire evening.

Sombr’s Vienna debut was more than just a sold-out show. It was proof of a deeply connected community and an artist who understands the power of shared moments. If this night was any indication, Vienna won’t have to wait long for his return.
