Granshaw is an emerging indie band from Bristol, most recently performing at The Finsbury, which is renowned for its vibrant venue hosting many grassroots talents. The band was formally known as Edward Granshaw, but has now evolved and continues to amass a rich archive of music
The band includes frontman and rhythm guitarist Edward, singer and bassist Mima, lead guitarist Finnbar, and drummer Jan. Following a successful debut tour and sold-out shows, Granshaw prepares to release a new EP in the coming months. Excitement is building and the anticipated tracklist includes ‘When The River Runs Dry’ and ‘Wilting’ alongside many more.
Granshaw’s indie rock sound perpetuates a blend of slower, introspective songs and energetic tracks, ideal for getting the crowd moving. The band often encourages those on their feet to stand closer; their stage presence is infectious and truly draws the audience into their world. Fans of bands like Catfish and the Bottlemen, Wallows, Dayglow, and The Backseat Lovers, if you enjoy these artists, Granshaw is definitely worth a listen.
